Reformer + strength · 50 minutes · Low light

The slowest gym in town.

Fifty-minute reformer and strength classes in a low-light studio, capped at ten people, where every rep is slow, controlled and coached.

This page loads at a considered pace. That is the point.

Coach Snail

One rep. Ten seconds.

Our tempo coach is a garden snail with a glossy amber-striped shell. It has never once rushed a rep, and it never shouts. The humans in the room move at its pace: four counts out, a pause, four counts back.

Slow is the point. At this tempo the springs cannot do the work for you, and your coach has time to see, cue and adjust every rep.

Ready

Ten seconds. Breathe out as the carriage goes out.

Less speed. More you.

Big-box gyms are crowded and packed classes leave no room to check anyone's form. We went the other way, deliberately.

Ten people, max

Every class is capped at ten, so your coach can see you, cue you and adjust your form in real time.

Tempo over speed

Controlled, slow reps on the reformer and with weights keep muscles working through the full range of motion.

Low lights, zero ego

Dimmed lighting, focused music and no mirrors on the main wall: just you, your breath and the work.

Loading. Slowly. Honestly.

We will only post real member words and class photos, with their consent. No invented testimonials, no before-and-afters, no star ratings, no results claims. Some things are worth the wait.

Until then, the snail vouches for nothing. It is a snail.

Questions

Asked calmly.

Yes. Coaches offer options for every exercise and will walk you through the reformer before class. If you have an injury or medical condition, check with your healthcare provider first and tell your coach.

Our tempo coach lives in a comfortable terrarium at the front desk, well away from the equipment. Say hello on your way in.
