Fourteen rooms · One cove · No rush

Nowhere to be. Beautifully.

Fourteen whitewashed rooms above a quiet cove, breakfast until noon, and a little blue box where your phone can take a siesta.

The Phone Siesta

A small blue box. A very big key.

i.

Check in.

The host meets you on the terrace with something cold and a deadpan, open palm.

ii.

Your phone checks in too.

Into the hand-painted blue box it goes, onto a linen pillow of its own.

iii.

The door closes. The key turns.

Heavy brass, olive-branch fob. Officially, a ticket to nowhere.

iv.

Check out of everything else.

Entirely optional. Collect it whenever you like. It will be fine without you.

Three things we do, slowly.

No itinerary, no wristbands, no 7 am anything. Just a cove, a terrace and a hotel that assumes you have nowhere to be.

Blue shutters open onto a turquoise sea from a whitewashed room with a linen bed and a straw hat

Every room faces the sea

Private terraces with linen daybeds look straight over the cove, so the first thing you see each morning is water.

A late breakfast on blue and ochre tiles: figs, bread, honey, yogurt with olive oil and strong coffee

Breakfast until noon

Local bread, figs, honey and strong coffee, served on the terrace whenever you happen to wake up.

The phone siesta

Lock your phone in our hand-painted box at check-in, or don't: it is your holiday. Collect it whenever you like.

Your host, your box, your key

He will remember how you take your coffee.

"Hand me your phone. Good. Now, breakfast is until noon, the cove is down those steps, and the fourth night is on us. Anything else can wait."

Fourteen rooms means the staff know your name by the second morning, and forget your inbox by the first.

The guestbook

Still blank. On purpose.

We would rather fill these pages with real words from real guests, shared with their permission, than write them ourselves. No invented reviews, no borrowed stars.

Until then, leave your email and we will write to you, by hand if we can manage it, when the shutters open for the season.

Notes on the pillow

A few questions, answered slowly.

Do I have to give up my phone?

Not at all. The phone siesta is optional, and you can collect your phone from the box at any time.

How does the fourth-night-free offer work?

Book four consecutive nights and the lowest-priced night is free. Subject to availability; see booking terms for eligible dates.

How do I get there?

We can arrange a private transfer from the nearest airport or ferry port; the drive along the coast takes about 50 minutes.

Nowhere is expecting you.

Three nights, one cove, and a fourth on the house. Bring a book. Leave the rest in the box.
